Our MissioN
To restore hope and empower vulnerable people through health, education, livelihoods, environment, governance, and human rights programs that foster dignity and self-reliance.
We achieve this through holistic programs in health, education, livelihoods, environment, governance, and human rights. By promoting dignity, equality, and self-reliance, we ensure that children, youth, women, and persons with disabilities are not left behind, but are given opportunities to grow and contribute meaningfully to society.

Our TeaM
Chadri Isaac – Executive Director
Profession/Expertise: Development professional, psychiatry, humanitarian leadership, project management.
Has over 10 years leading community-based and humanitarian programs in Uganda and beyond. He has managed large-scale projects in health, education, and livelihoods, ensuring impact-driven results.
Role at PEP: Provides overall strategic leadership, oversees program implementation, builds partnerships, and ensures that PEP’s vision and mission are consistently achieved. Isaac is dedicated to restoring hope, promoting mental wellness, and empowering disadvantaged groups to become self-reliant.
CPA Adomati Mophat – Director, Finance & Audit
Profession/Expertise: Certified Public Accountant with specialization in financial management, audit, and financial literacy training.
Experience: Over 12 years in financial management, auditing, and NGO financial systems strengthening. He has trained and supported multiple community groups in savings and investments.
Role at PEP: Oversees financial accountability, ensures transparency, manages audits, and trains community savings groups (VSLAs).
Passion: Committed to building financially literate communities and ensuring accountability in development programs.
Alex Onzima – Program Coordinator (A researcher and Public Health specialist)
Alex is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health
He has a post-graduate certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation
He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social work and social administration ,
Alex has Diploma in Secondary Education.
He worked with Uganda Red Cross Society for 15 years.
He represented URCS at International, Regional and National forums on health programs.
Member of Lions Club of Arua and also a board member of Mvara SS
Our Partners & What They’ve Made Possible
Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), Makerere University
What we have done together: HIV/AIDS & TB program (2021–2025) supporting 11 health facilities in Madi-Okollo District.
Impact: Improved testing, treatment adherence, and community follow-up for children, adolescents, and adults living with HIV/TB.
Vitamin Angels
What we have done together:
Maternal and child health supplementation across Arua, Nebbi, Moyo, and Maracha.
Impact: Vitamin A, Albendazole (deworming), and multivitamins reached tens of thousands of children and pregnant women, reducing preventable illness and deficiency.
Oxfam
What we have done together:
COVID-19 emergency preparedness (2020) in Rhino Camp (refugee & host communities).
Cash Transfer program (2021) to vulnerable households in Rhino Camp.
Impact: Strengthened resilience during the pandemic; direct livelihood support for families at highest risk.
CEFORD (Community Empowerment for Rural Development)
What we have done together:
Youth vocational training (bar soap, briquettes, other trades).
Impact: Job-ready skills for young people; new micro-enterprises and income for trainees.
Arua Local Government
What we have done together:
Cage fishing project (2018)—training and fish-cage support in Rhino Camp and Rigbo.
Impact: Diversified household incomes; local aquaculture capacity built.
Uganda Microfinance Support Centre
What we have done together:
Financial literacy, linkages for trained VSLA groups; access to soft loans (~UGX 50M) to selected groups.
Impact: Savings culture strengthened; capital for micro-enterprise growth.
Centenary Bank
What we have done together:
Financial inclusion and group linkages for VSLAs (banking and enterprise readiness).
Impact: Easier access to formal financial services for community groups.
GIZ
What we have done together:
Technical collaboration supporting livelihoods and systems strengthening (program support where aligned).

AIDEnvironment

Environmental stewardship—tree planting, restoration, and clean-energy promotion.
